I. PURPOSE AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

The main goal of the Festival is to promote the songs written by Bulgarian composers and composers abroad for children's vocal groups, children's and youth choirs and individual performers from 6 to 19 years of age.
The theme of the festival is wide-ranging – it should reflect the diversity of the children's world and educate children in moral virtues and love for music and singing.

II. CATEGORIES, EVALUATION CRITERIA AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS:

1. Vocal groups /up to 12 participants/ - Present a 12-minute program of their choice

• First age group – I - IV class
• Second age group - V - VII class
• Third age group – VIII – XII class

2. Choirs /up to 40 participants/ - Present up to 20 minutes of a program of their choice

• First age group - children's choirs - children aged 6 - 10 years
• Second age group - children's choirs - children aged 10-16 years
• Third age group - youth choirs - young people aged 16 - 19 years

Provided that there are less than 4 participants in a category, the organizers reserve the right to combine participants from two adjacent categories into one.

3. Performances will be evaluated by a jury according to the following criteria:

For Choirs and Vocal Groups:
- intonation,
- accurate score reading,
- style and ensemble
- repertoire selection,
- stage behaviour

4. The following must be attached to the application for participation:

• For vocal groups and choirs – a photo, annotation of the group/people and conductor's CV, a link to a page where their recordings can be heard and a receipt for the paid participation fee.

Requirements for the preparation and shooting of the video:

• The video clip can be filmed in a classroom, or at concert hall.
• The video should be shot horizontally, with a clear view of the performers, without editing and without any additional manipulation.
• No competition, concert or studio recording is allowed. Any type of intervention, editing or editing is prohibited.
• Participation is declared with the request form /online form/ in which links to the amateur videos uploaded to Youtube must be sent, with visibility hidden /UNLISTED/. To be named in the order listed:
"First and last name - Age group - Performance name"

5. Participation fee –

- Vocal ensembles – 50 BGN
- All choirs – 80 BGN

III. RATING AND AWARDS:

The evaluation will be carried out by a professional jury:

Ranking is not subject to appeal!

All participants in the festival receive a diploma, and those ranked first, second and third in each of the age groups - a diploma and a plaque.
All participants ranked in First place and the Grand Prizes earn the right to participate in the Present Eighth edition of the festival in 2026 without paying a tuition fee.
Awards at the Sixth Festival for the performance of the Bulgarian children's song "Let us sing" - Online edition, Svilengrad 2024:
• The Grand Prize of the Mayor of Svilengrad for the best overall performance – plaque and diploma;
• Award of Choir School "Svilengrad" for the best performance - plaque and diploma;
• Award of the "Musical Youth" Foundation for a young conductor - plaque and diploma;
• Award of the Bulgarian Choral Union for the choir with the brightest stage presence - plaque and diploma.
